I think the answer is “Yes, Please!”
If you are a wine drinker you might have noticed that some of the best actually come from South Africa. The Western Cape has a number of areas full of great vineyards, including Constantia, a more famously known tourist area near Cape Town (with a touristy hop-on-hop-off bus that starts in Cape Town and goes to several wineries–not too bad of an idea). We, however, wanted to see Stellenbosch, an area about 50 km East of Cape Town, and a little more off the beaten path. This picturesque place is the second oldest European settlement in the province (founded by the Dutch in 1679) and the grandfather of Southern Hemisphere wine regions.
